The Waterside Hotel, beautifully located on the south bank of the River Ness is a family owned and professionally run property, where management and staff will ensure all of your requirements are catered for and will help to plan your stay in Inverness. The Waterside Brasserie, with its fabulous river views and the Cocktail Bar are open all day, offering freshly prepared and imaginatively presented food and an impressive range of wines, beers, malts and spirits. The new owners have recently refurbished the public areas to brighten the place up and fulfil its potential. If you are looking for a sound base to tour the Highlands, The Waterside offers a warm welcome and Highland hospitality for the duration of your stay.

Refurbishment is being carried out on the 30 bedrooms to ensure the quality of accommodation is to the standard people associate with a 3 star hotel. The Waterside will remain open with work carried out in various stages through the winter months to ensure as little disruption as possible to guests. All rooms are en-suite. Rooms with a river view are available. The cathedral, Eden Court and the wonderful trees along Ness Bank which reflect the changing seasons in the waters of the Ness can be seen from every table in the Restaurant and from some of our bedrooms.
A9/A96 - Follow the signs to Inverness City Centre. Once in Inverness, drive straight through Academy Street. At the end of Academy Street and before the roundabout turn left towards the Ness River. Drive along the River and through the traffic lights at Johnny Foxes (the Irish Pub). The Waterside is the hotel with the large Conservatory after the Glen Mhor Hotel (our sister hotel) and a couple of B&B'S. A82 - Follow the signs to Inverness City Centre. Drive over the Ness Bridge and up Castle Street past McDonald's and at the traffic lights, turn right towards the river and drive along. The hotel has got a big conservatory after the Glen Mhor Hotel (our sister hotel) and a couple of B&Bs.
