Quietly located in the city centre, the Herald House offers convenient and affordable en-suite accommodation for business and tourist visitors to Edinburgh. The West End and Princes Street's shops are just a ten minutes walk or so from the Hotel and in the immediate vicinty there are theatres, cinemas, traditional and modern bars, and a wide range of restaurants, bistros and coffee shops. There are 45 bedrooms, all with showers and WC en suite. Rooms are equipped with direct dial telephones, television, hospitality tray, trouser press and hairdryer. In addition to single, double and twin-bedded rooms, a number of triple and family rooms are available. There are two ground floor bedrooms, and an elevator serves the three upper floors. A pleasantly appointed residents bar and lounge is located on the ground floor, ajacent to the hotel's breakfast room.
