The hotel is located on a hill with a fantastic view of the Constanz see, with several possiblities of hiking. As the location is rather hilly, it will not be suitable for people with limited physical capabilities, but in fron of the hotel is a train station which takes you to another villsge on the slopes of the mountain.

Perched on a hill with stunning views over the Bodensee (Lake Constance) from our balcony and the restaurant. Restaurant a bit pricey, but then again so is switzerland. Views across to Lindau (Germany) and Bregenz (Austria) Information board near the hotel explains the 'drielanderblick' (three country view) Great indoor pool with access out onto a private, quiet grassed terrace with recliners. Try taking one of their bicycles for a ride around the glorious Appenzeller scenery. A real 'escape' hotel.
