Traditional cosy Swiss Hotel with newly renovated rooms. New: Family rooms. Central located, five minutes from the railway stations. Excellent for hiking tours in summer and sking in winter.

A fantastic location - very peaceful as no cars. A shame we had only booked to stay one night. We would have liked to stay longer. Staff really helpful - our room was available before the specified time. Dining room really old-fashioned but great ! Very atmospheric, fantastic views from room balcony.

The hotel was very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable, and the views and scenery in Murren are absolutly top notch. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good also.

We stayed three nights at the Blumental and enjoyed it very much. The view of the moutains is blocked somewhat by a large hotel across the street (but not entirely). Breakfast offered a good choice of cereals and breads. Location is very convenient for the cable car, but a bit of walk for the train.

Highly recommended. Quaint hotel in idyllic surroundings. Limitless day hikes available in area. Criticism regarding the hotel that does n"t detract from the enjoyment 1 - view of mountain partially obscured by other buildings, although room 17 has a balcony with a view. 2 - the intensity of the lighting in the rooms is poor,3 lamps of low wattage. The scenery makes up for this!!

HOWEVER WAS NOT AWARE WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE CAR A BOTOM OF MOUNTAIN AND TAKE CABLE CAR AND LUGGAGE WITH US. BUT MADE THIS MORE INTERESTING JUST WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER TO KNOW THIS IN ADVANCE.EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS AND WONDERFUL ACCOMODATION.

A lovely hotel with friendly, skilled staff. Hotel Blumental was welcoming, baby-friendly, comfortable, and very clean. Nice beds.
