Set on a cliff top, in a site of 285,000 square metres, this private resort was inspired by nature and benefits from its own seafront.
The wavy shaped swimming pool, which looks like an extension of the sea, is filled with salt water. Burgau and Luz beaches are just 1.5 km away. At these beaches you can enjoy many activities, such as snorkelling and kite-surfing. Alternatively you can take a relaxing bike ride to the picturesque villages of Luz and Burgau. Bikes are available to hire from the hotel. As the resort is integrated in the Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, you can identify countless rare plants.

Please note that, until the April 1st 2008, the reception is open from 08:00 to 22:00 each day. Guests planning to arrive after opening hours are advised to inform the hotel of their expected arrival time upon booking. Babysitting services are available upon request and need to be reserved in advance.

Restaurante L'Escargot: This formal Mediterranean restaurant is open daily from 19:00 to 22:30, except on Wednesdays. The restaurant is closed from 01 to 19 December 2007 and 02 to 30 January 2008.
Mercearia d'Avó: This grocery shop and restaurant is open daily (09:00 to 22:00 and on Wednesday until 18:00) to by everyday items or to order your take away. The traditional kitchen is also open for lunch.
When the restaurant L'Escargot is closed in December and January, the grocery shop will be open daily from 09:00 to 18:00, except Sundays.
Cabana do Pescador: This coffee shop near the swimming pool will reopen in March 2008..
Motorway A22 direction to Lagos.
Exit Lagos / Vila do Bispo.
Nationalroad EN 125 direction Vila do Bispo / Sagres.
2nd possibility to Praia da Luz turn left.
1st roundabout turn right, direction to Burgau.
Between Praia da Luz and Burgau you will find on your left hand side a white wall with yellow on top, at the end of this wall you will find the entrance to Porto Dona Maria.
