With a florist, gift shop, the beauty lounge La Beauty and the sports centre La Gym, the Eden Design Hotel Maastricht offers many unique on-site facilities.

You can relax on the inside terrace, browse through the CD-O-Theek or visit the unique Eden Maastricht Vespa.

At your request, we can arrange for a delightful pampering package or a goldfish in your room; anything you might fancy. We can thus suit your personal wishes and needs.

Food & beverage

Enjoy the rich breakfast buffet in La Byb, characterised by healthy and fresh products. You can also have an organic a la carte breakfast, available till 16:30 at the sandwich bar Simply Bread. This place also serves lunch at any time of the day and only offers natural ingredients.

The cocktail lounge at La Byb offers a modern, trendy place to relax and have a chat, while enjoying the most delicious mixes. The free internet connection in La Byb and the informal setting invite you and your friends, family or business relations to unwind. Here you can engage in discussions or enjoy an intimate dinner for up to 25 guests.

The hotel’s in-house caterer Fin Bec offers a variety of specialities and delicacies from Maastricht that can be served in the lounge bar if desired. Fin Bec is open Tuesdays to Saturdays, until 18:30.

Room information

The 74 design rooms are icons of luxury; from modern electronics to a choice of Hästens bed, water bed, single or double bed - guests are pampered with comfort. Unique facilities can be provided upon request, such as a goldfish or 100% oxygen.

Each of the guest rooms were designed by Phillip Starck, Mark Newson and Minotti, among others. Your room can be equipped to satisfy all your wishes upon request.

Guests can also choose one of the theme rooms, each with a magnificent interior. There is the black, brown and white room but also our Minotti room - specially designed by Minotti - or one of our La Bain rooms, powered by Mosa.

Customise and rearrange your room as you like; whether it's an armchair to read in, a work station to write at or artwork for inspiration.

All of the rooms in the hotel have a flat-screen television, CD player, electronic safe and a wireless internet connection.

Area information

The lively character of the province of Limburg is certainly evident at the Eden Design Hotel Maastricht.

Due to its convenient location, the Maastricht’s lively squares and outdoor cafés are within easy reach, such as the Vrijthof and the Onze Lieve Vrouwenplein. Treat yourself to a fruity glass of delicious rosé and enjoy the lively atmosphere, which Maastricht is known for.

The new, modern shopping area, featuring the Entre Deux and Mosa Forum shopping centres, is also within walking distance of the hotel.

Browse around the antique and curio market every Saturday in Stationsstraat. On Thursdays you can visit the farmer’s market and there are other daily markets on the market square.

Maastricht also has an impressive history, dating back to over 500 years BC. As a Celtic settlement, the city occupied an important position from early on as a location along the Meuse where one could wade through to the other side. This is how Maastricht got its name: Mosa Trajectum.

Important information

The Eden Designhotel Maastricht is formerly known as the Eden Hotel La Bergere.

The secured car park with camera surveillance (headroom 1.80 metres) is located at just 100 metres from the hotel. Reservations for the car park are until 12:00 noon on the day of departure.

Venue reasonably central and the quality of breakfast was good.

The over design aspect of the hotel rooms. No chairs, only one, no cupboard and no table. The room was very small and for the price paid, I think it was too much. On Sundaymorning queing up for breakfast and we had to wait for another 15 min. to be able to get breakfast. We requested an extra chair in the hotel room, but never received one.

Hotel is ok and fairly good value for money, but there is one big disadvantage: the horrible smell! They have this artificial interior smell that makes me nautious.Luckily only in the lobby and bar, not in the rooms.

Great looks, excellent bed (Hastens), spacy room.

The picture on the website suggested that there was an open bathroom/bedroom. This was not the case, which gave the room a different atmosphere.

The Location of the hotel is very good from there you can walk in about 5 minutens to the center of the city.You can rent a vespa scotter to go around the city.

The price for parking ( 23 e) In cs I beliave it is about 9 euros it is as far as the hotel parking.!The rooms dont have airco! I could not sleep in the room it was to bloddy hot it was like been in the sauna.You dont have the posibillity to open the windows far onof to get some air in the room.I Point this to staff only respons whas ok!!! Nothing more ok

Excellent service and the modern design of the hotel. The sandwich bar is has excellent food and breakfast

Their sandwich bar opens very late hence v difficult to eat a small breakfast before leaving

Hotel staff are friendly and the location of the hotel is excellent, not far from the train station and also close to the city center.

I like almost everything at the hotel, only they don't have tea/coffee facilities at the room

Location, Location, Location... The staff attitude is great they can't do enough for you, great rooms, very comfortable and very large Haasten Beds, this is a cool boutique Hotel, great Bar, nice Terrace for Sunny Days, and for Breakfast Simply Bread (You have to try the Black Pepper Chicken Club)... I stay there fr business but you need a crowbar to get my Fiancee out of there....

No Aircon, but come on people it's the Netherlands so your never far from a cooling spot of Rain :)
