The service was excellent, with breakfast each morning and kind and attentive staff. The location was easy walking distance to museums, restaurants, river, and plenty of gelati. The room was very large and pretty, with an attached bath.

Located on noisy street, but windows provided excellent sound proofing. Over priced compared to some hotels we found in Italy, for the facilities provided. Perhaps Florence is over priced in general?

it was easy walking distance from the hotel and the center of the city, and a good neighborhood to be in. the staff was wonderfully helpful when a set of bags was lost. breakfast was good, and it had a personal feel. also, there was no curfew so you could go out at nights. :o)

Wanda Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Florence, however parking is difficult, it is good to familarise yourself with the parking options before arriving in Florence and locating the hotel. The rooms are spacious if a little basic, there are no frills to this hotel, however the lady who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is typical Italian. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who has a small amount of time in Florence and wants to be on the doorstep of all the sights and close to a selection of good restaurants.

We had the best experience with our stay at this great little hotel. The small, hard-working staff provided GREAT service, and unequalled hospitality. I give it 5 stars!

This hotel was fantastic! Great location, staff was super friendly. The breakfast was lame: only a roll with some butter and jelly but the room was big and very clean. The hall bathroom was also very clean and there was never a wait for the bathroom or shower. Overall this is a great place to stay and I would definitely book a room here again when I go back to Florence!

have stayed at hotel wanda twice now. location is perfect.very very friendly and helpful includujng finding accomidations in other places.same staff now as 2 and a half years ago. windows are insulated for noise which really helps as there are scooters everywhere.it is florence afterall.beatrice also explined to me that they are closing for 2 months this winter for a big remodel and work was being done on the outside while i was there. for price, location and friendliness you cant beat this place. when renos are complete,it will be even better. ps the rooms have fantastic frescoed ceilings which are fantastic. i will stay there again next time

Private bathroom is not ensuite. If you do not have private bath you have to walk pass breakfast area to get to the bathroom. Beds are of poor quality. Location is very hard to find, no sign and no elevator lift. Hotel located in apartment building. However, once you find the location it is within walking distance of many things. The bus stops are also very convenient. If you just want a place to stay and do not intend to spend much time at the hotel, Hotel Wanda will do.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was comfortable, but a little too warm (the air conditioner didn't cool too well). I would recommend this hotel to friends.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room and facility were basic and simple and the decor a bit dilapidated, but clean. The staff was very accommodating with all our requests. Continental breakfast was coffee and hard rolls. The mattress was not very comfortable and the bathroom was clean but the shower curtain was ripped and the shower stall could use some refurbishing. For the same price we stayed in a hotel in Bologna that rated several notches above.

The hotel provided a very friendly atmoshpere The staff were extemely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with the frescoed ceiling being a very nice touch. The breakfast was good and it really is good value for money given its location close to Santa Croce. We had a throughly enjoyable stay.
