When you book something site unseen online, it is always a risk that it may not be what one expected. Not so with Hotel Lindenufer. It was just what we wanted, a quiet respite from our busy days of sight seeing in Berlin. Great staff and perfect breakfasts right at the underground entrance. Spandau is a great authentic German city with nice restaurants and a wonderful open air market. So GO there!!

The Hotel had got the worst bed and the smaller bathroom I never saw. My husband and me asked for a matrimonial bed, but the hotel had just single bed nearest. This has involved that among the two single beds have opened an abyss that is remained for the whole holiday. In any case, the single beds were broken down and very uncomfortable. There was a wole in the moquettes and the bath was as great as an elevator (1,20 meter X 1!!!). the worse thing was the shower: very small and the "telephone" was not stopped and the water roteated around the shower. We ask to the reception for a more confortable room but they said that all rooms was busy. But this isn't true in the hotel there was maximun 5 busy room. the breakfast was enough good but if you arrived after 9 am there was no assortment and the briocheses were finished.

Spandau is a beautiful little town, at 20 minutes of underground from Berlin center. The hotel is situated a 20 meters by Ubahn station and 5 min. walk by Sbahn station. Breakfast is very good with a big variated buffet.

I was in Berlin for an exhibition in Berlin Messe I found the hotel excellent for transport connection (both S-Bahn and U-Bahn) plus taxi service. Price is competitive and quality is pretty good. Beside Spandau is a lovely little village with everything on the doorstep.

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole, i letti matrimoniali hanno 2 materassi distinti, quindi attenzione (anche se è una caratteristica di molti letti matrimoniali in Germania), la colazione è a buffet e la nostra (mia e della mia ragazza)stanza è molto carina con una bella visuale sul quartiere Spandau. Stanza anche per fumatori. L'unica nota sono le 3 metro da prendere per arrivare in centro con circa 45 minuti di tragitto. Piccolo consiglio:visitate la città in estate (dovrebbe essere più visitabile).

Hotel tipo familiar, bonito y acogedor, con recepción en la 1ª planta. El personal fue muy agradable y atento. La zona es muy bonito, Spandau es un pueblecito de tipo medieval. Hay justo a la salida del hotel una estación de cercanias que tarda 10 minutos hasta el centro de Berlín. Por eso, el hecho de que esté a 7 km del centro, no es un problema. Hay sitios para cenar hasta las 12 de la noche cerca del hotel. Yo le doy un 8

il rapporto prezzo/qualita' è ottimo le camere sono buone, la colazione pure, lo staff gentile il fattore negativo è dato dal fatto che l'albergo è sito al terzo piano e non vi è l'ascensore e vanno fatte le scale ( con i bagagli) a piedi Comunque ,dopo tutto, l'albergo è da consigliare a coloro che non hanno pretese di avere un albergo di lusso Lo consiglio

We were disappointed to find that the hotel had so many stairs to climb before we reached reception, there was no one to help with suitcases and it was a struggle. The hotel was good but there was no lounge or bar area open in which to have a coffee or drink. Also no coffee or tea making facilities in the room which we would have liked. We would only use the hotel again if there was a porter to help with luggage and tea making facilities in rooms.

We had a most enjoyable stay. My only reservation was the approach to the hotel. This was no problem to us but the two flights of stairs (No obvious lift) would make it difficult for anyone with a disability, perhaps this needs mentioning.

We had a very nice stay in this cosy hotel with its nice and competent staff. This hotel is an example of a very good price/quality relationship which is situated in a attractive part of Berlin.

Small and compfortable hotel with excellent connections to the downtown. Subway takes you to the heart of the city in half an hour. The luxury comes from the atmosphere and silence of old Spandau.

Quiet hotel in very pleasant surroundings. Excellent choice of breakfast buffet. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together!
