The Meineke Arte Hotel is located just off Berlin's famous shopping street, Kurfurstendamm and is within 500 metres of the KaDeWe department store. The 60 guestrooms feature simple white decor with modern artworks, warm red carpets and dark wood furnishings. There is a separate sitting area, and all rooms include balconies, satellite television, VCRs, hair dryers, and Internet connections. Guests can wind down with a drink in the Gunther Edlinger bar, which is named after the creator of all the hotel's artwork, and decorated with his paintings. Green spaces around the city include the botanical gardens, 150 metres away and the Tiergarten, one kilometre from the hotel. Visitors might also want to venture to the eastern part of the city, where attractions include the Pergamon Museum, a famed complex of several different museums, seven kilometres from the hotel. Berlin Tempelhof Airport is five kilometres from the hotel.
