The hotel was in an excellent position with a lovely view of the sights,. The hotel needed air coniditioning - stayed in July and too hot - if opened windows too noisy. |

The hotel was steps from Gare du l'est subway. Although it isn't in the heart of Paris, being that close to a station which made it easy to get anywhere. The staff was very helpful when I asked for directions and planning my trips. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and very clean and quiet. The hotel is an excellent choice, especially if you are travelling on a budget. I really can't complain about anything. I read the other complaints about this hotel like not being air conditioned and the lack of an ice machine. The curtains are insulated and the window glass is thick so the room is quiet and cool. Most hotels aren't air conditioned in Paris or have ice machines unless maybe the hotel is an American chain and then you pay much more. |

Friendly and welcoming staff, great location for accessing trains and metro, comfortable bed. The hotel was quite old, could do with recarpting and painting, i found there was a lot of noise from th trafic in th street but this can't really be helped. |

It was the hotel's expectation that guests not be in their rooms for the entire day in order for the room to be cleaned. This was extremely inconvenient. The elevator was broken for 4 out of the 5 days we were there and we were staying on the 4th floor. |

The hotel is literally less that a minute walk from Gard L'Est and very conveniently located. The rates were also very reasonable Our bedroom was tiny and there was no air conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable. |

OK location, 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord. Room quite bland but adequate for the price. Very expensive internet connection (and not wireless as stated) - flat rate of 10 EUR/day regardless of how much time you need. |
