Tempting location, intriguing history and beautifully served breakfasts.

They advertise their historical links with Absinth consumption but when asked for a drink - regardless the price - they merely didn't have it. Reply was, they are waiting for delivery... Quite disappointing.

The staff where friendly the rooms where clean

It's not in the best area and although it's pretty central I didn't feel very safe walking in the area when it was late

Attractiveness of interior lobby, bar and breakfast room, bedroom was larger than some I've stayed at in Paris, and the staff was exceptional - helpful and friendly. Also room was quite attractive and clean - beds, however, were uncomfortable. Still would recommend to right persons.

Noise from late night bar crowds in the Pigalle area, very close to our room. Could have shut out the noise if there had been air conditioning or at least a ceiling fan. This also would have helped with the uncomfortably hot room. Need better mattresses on the beds also. We were mature aged couple taking teenage grandson on his graduation gift trip. We all were exhausted and needed better rest
