Hotel Aldo is situated in Juan les Pins, right in the heart of the French Riviera. You can reach all of Provence-Côte-d'Azur, Monaco and the north of Italy before lunch. The railway station is only 3 minutes from the hotel, and le Mediterranée is even closer. Here you find sandy beaches - and a long vigorous morning walk along the sea is hereby recommended! Hotel Aldo is a family owned hotel, and the landlady and landlord are really friendly and know how to make their guests feel welcome! It's not difficult to come here on your own. The rooms are simple, but very clean, and the bathrooms are newly renovated. The breakfast room is really charming, and the landlady pops across the street for the baguettes - as fresh as you can get them! I lived in Juan les Pins for almost two years (a few years ago), now I come back to visit my friends and enjoy life and the food on Côte d'Azur. There are many good restaurants in Juan les Pins and Antibes, the sea food is a must, but I like to do my shopping in Nice. I try to avoid July and August, because of the heat and the crowd, but then you miss out on the famous jazz festival. It's up to you! When you have many friends, it's difficult to choose just one of them to stay with. Now that I have experienced hotel Aldo, I have found a new friend with whom I can stay without making the others jealous!

Despite any reviews you may research, this a wonderful hotel! A great location; near the train station, the main high street (where there is a health store that offers vegan/gluten free goods) and thus shops, bars/nightlife, and of course that sandy beach and wide marina! Our room was like a mini studio with a big bathroom, fridge and large balcony overlooking the back road area. Great for people watching! The husband and wife team who run the hotel were charming, and so helpful. They made me ashamed of my language skills! Nothing was too much trouble. The roving black cat is a charmer also. We went in September 2007, and the hotel was well priced, and the weather was 28 degrees! Great time to visit, less busy. If you go, you will enjoy!

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From Nice follow the Route N98 for 6.5 km, through Saint-Laurent-de-Var (3 km), Cagnes-sur-Mer on Route D241. Then continue on Route N7 for 8.4 km, onto Juan-Les-Pins, which is part of Antibes area.
From Cannes drive along the sea, in direction of Antibes. Juan-Les-Pins is shortly after Golfe-Juan.
From A8 highway take the exit Antibes-Juan-Les-Pins, then follow the signs to Juan-Les-Pins.
