The Union hotel is located on Ostrcilovo namesti, below the old city walls of the National Cultural Heritage monument of Vysehrad Castle, close to the centre.

If you want to visit old Prague and stay in a hotel providing typical Czech atmosphere, then this is the place to be. The hotel was built in the Art Noveau style, just like a lot of other buildings in the protected zone of Nusle. By trams 18 and 24, taking you to the metro line B, you can easily and quickly reach the historical centre of the capital city. Moreover it is just an easy 10-minute walk to the newly-reconstructed Congress Centre. There is an internet cafe on site and wireless internet access is available for free in the entire hotel.

All guests are welcomed with a glass of original Czech Becherovka liquor.

Hotel information

Hotel Union is a private family hotel, built in 1906 and after general reconstruction reopened in 1992.
Starting from February 2006, all hotel space was renovated and equipped with new furniture, carpets, etc.

Lobby bar - refreshment, draw beer, wines, soft drinks. Restaurant - international dishes as well as traditional czech cuisine.

Area information

Hotel Union is located near to the old Prague castle "Vysehrad" and Prague Congress Centre, just 10 min.walking distance. Trams N. 18 and 24 are in 10 min.in the city centre and old town.

Friendly and helpful staff, good food, good location. Tram stop outside the hotel. Liked having the toilet separate from the bathroom. Free wi-fi - great!

A bit noisy at night with the tram and train lines so close, but we travel with earplugs permanently in our bags so not a major problem.

Accessible by tram.
Excellent breakfast.

A bit far from the center by walking.
Tram noise - the hotel is next to tram and train lines.

clean rooms and of a good size, tram stop outside

no high chair or ramps, made using the buggy hard work, there is however a lift to the rooms.

This is a medium-level 3-star hotel, small rooms even for 3 stars. Wireless internet is very unstable in some areas. The biggest issue is with the noise - tram and railway are right outside the hotel, it's hard to sleep there.

I think, I'll choose another hotel next time.

Very nice stay. Good Room, clean and quiet. The staff was very kind. Great choice for breakfast and even the restaurant is nice.

The only thing I didn't like was the toilet separate from the bathroom inside the room, but not a great problem!

La exposicion del hotel es excelente, es posible caminar al pleno centro o tomar la tranvia. Seleccion de comidas en restauran de hotel. Muy cerca de monumento Vysehrad y del rio. Coneccion a Internet por WiFi en cada habitacion.
