The Albany Hotel is a Georgian-style townhouse hotel and is one of Edinburgh's premiere hotels. We are located on a peaceful street in the heart of this vivacious city, only a short walk from Princes Street.
Each one of our en-suite rooms is individually decorated to provide you with complete comfort during your visit to Scotland's capital. Whilst the hotel has no on-site spa/health facilities, there are many large and well-equipped leisure/sports centres within a few minutes walking distance.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Please note that the full balance of the reservation is due on arrival at the hotel.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for more than 8 adults as this is classified as a group booking. The remainder will be paid upon arrival at the hotel.
At present there is no restaurant, but there are many different
restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
The Albany Hotel is situated in Albany Street, Edinburgh, in close proximity to the St. James shopping centre and Princes Street. Edinburgh's mainline railway station, Waverley Station, is only half a mile away.
By sea: If you are travelling to or from Edinburgh by ferry there is an excellent service between Rosyth (15 miles) and Zeebrugge.
By air: The most convenient airport is Edinburgh (12 miles) from where you can hire a car. Should you require a taxi transfer to the hotel from the airport, this takes approx. 20 minutes.
